To whom it may concern
Craig Bannan is a talented and gifted specialised
tradesman who I have worked with on a number of occasions in the past ten
years in a materials conservation field. Some examples of the
conservation work he has undertaken in the specialised metals field are:
-
Brisbane Town Hall, external lights and gates – repair,
restore and refurbish;
-
Townsville War Memorial – repair damage to copper discs
linked with preservation of metal elements;
-
Anzac Square Brisbane – restoration and preservation of
copper alloy elements including spears attached to the fence surrounding
the eternal flame and restoration of large copper decorative discs.
Craig has the ability to work with all metals and has a
good understanding of conservation techniques enabling him to reproduce
finishes and repairs to match or preserve existing pieces.
Craig is professional and reliable and I highly recommend
his services.
